Key Statistics: 2025 KCSE at a Glance

The  2025 KCSE Results  are out! Here’s a complete, up-to-date analysis of the  KCSE 2025 results  released today,  January 9, 2026 , by Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Migos Ogamba at AIC Chebisaas High School in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County. This marks one of the final major cohorts under the 8-4-4 system as Kenya fully transitions to the  Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) . Overall, performance showed positive improvement, with more candidates qualifying for university and a rise in top grades. Key Statistics: 2025 KCSE at a Glance A record  993,226 candidates  sat the exams — up  3.2%  (about 30,714 more) from 962,512 in 2024.
